SAMANTHA WALKER
WHY I GET UP IN THE MORNING (MOTIVATION)

Motivation if hard to find, especially in the morning when you got 4 hours of sleep and your bed is the only place you want to be. Recently, I’ve found the reason to get out of bed and venture off into the day. My morning routine has become less daunting; making way for a new routine that leads to something I am passionate about and can spend hours developing. In this respect, my everyday has become more fulfilling and worthwhile.

For the sound part of my video, I recorded the sounds with a recorder and then developed and overlapped the sounds on Garageband. I was able to develop the sounds through changing the volume of them, using a variation of directions from which the sounds were coming from (e.g. Left or right), and deciding how and when to overlap the sounds. For the video portion, I used iMovie to condense the time in which it would play and combine the sound and the video. I used my phone to record the sound and video, as it is more apart of my everyday life than anything. It is the first thing I look at when I wake up and the last thing I look at before I go to sleep. Basically it has, unfortunately, become my second means of hearing and seeing.
