Consolidate Energy is a collection of moments where I have have felt transient. My everyday consists of a silent worship. I try to appreciate every moment, existing solely in the present. Recently I have made a pact to dismantle my ego. By ego, I mean the mind, the self, the constant judge maker. I want to quiet my mind. I want freedom from fear and hate. Dance and writing are two methods I have been using to disintegrate the self conscious, egotistical aspect of my personality that society has created. With this piece I hope to encourage others to explore the infinite horizons of their creative powers, beyond what is considered normal, or what is sane, beyond the molds that society wants to put us in. To create this piece I recorded myself practicing hoop dance with the video camera on my mac. I recorded myself reading free writes, edited the audio in Audacity, and then incorporated the audio and video in iMovie.
