“You Mean No”

Much of my everyday focuses on what is fast. This speed we live with controlling our lives often surrounds decisions we make repeatedly and consistently, and these decisions make us who we are. I choose to look at those pathways we take without noticing that are already moving when we get on them. Muscle memory, friction, changes in light, transportation: all such possibilities. When we are alone how fast the world moves around us, and how fast we seem to think others are traveling. Velocity and momentum are also key facets of this. Our society is increasingly concerning itself with what’s been previously very slow. Normal biology may soon be connected to machinery that far surpasses human capability. Locality has lost it’s meaning with GPS and wireless Internet, causing parts of our lives that previously weren’t to feel more instinctual. With pattern recognition we often pursue the unobtainable in an aim to replace the inevitable.
