As a busy American college student, my everyday is filled with overwhelming stimuli, from both exciting and dull sources. The video content is meant to give a fresh perspective of mostly ordinary things, intended to portray a sense of understated beauty, followed by a subtle feeling of gratitude. The images flow fast and out of order to symbolize the chaotic, fast-paced rhythm that is my everyday. The sources of sound mainly includes hot water boiling over, washing dishes, fumbling on my ukulele, and riding the bus—mostly calm, familiar sounds that juxtapose with the swiftness and brightness of the visuals.
