Everyday I go home. I do not think of home as a location, but as the simple acts that permeate our lives on a daily basis, the things we find familiar and comforting from experience. Home is in each cup of tea I pour, in the eyes of my Labrador, and I find it in each brush stroke on paper. Giving meaning to these common occurrences wraps my life in a blanket of reassurance that there is always a place to come back to for the pure happiness that comes with a cup of hot tea or the solitude of an afternoon drive.

To record my piece, I used a canon t3i for video for the majority of the clips, and a few shots are taken from my iPhone. To record sound, I used my audio application for iPhone, and I combined these on iMovie for MacBook.
