One thing that is a part of my every day is living in America as a minority, specifically in reference to my race.  Ever since I can remember, my ethnicity has been a very big factor in my life.  As an African American, I have experienced so many race related situations; it is my every day.  There are countless times when I am asked about my race, solely is based on my appearance.  My image stands out from the dominant race; I have wild curly hair, a darker skin tone, and discrete features like my nose and my lips.  I have experienced racism; racial profiling, discrimination, and other race related issues all because I am African American.  I am a full time student at a university that has an enrollment rate of 19% diversity population with only 1.5% of that being African American.  Being a minority in America really is a different world.

To create my video, I used pro x movie editing software.  Being able to edit my sound and video on this software really helped me learn a lot about it and my project turned out exactly how I imagined.  Although editing was very time consuming, the software was very easy to navigate and help me create my visual of the video.  I was able to cut frames and sounds that I did not want in my project and also blend different frames together.
