GRIFFIN BESTE

GRIFFIN BESTE
“Common Comparison”
2014
4:33
Mixed Media, Sound and Appropriated footage
This work represents the everyday because it directly references the polarity of our society and the everyday objects that we see and hear through out a daily routine. The film projector footage in the beginning of the video alludes to the work by john cage only in visually, but the sounds used to create the piece reference the use of every day objects to create sound. Pills, water, toothbrush, car door, food etc.
