WOODY OLIVER
DOODLE DREAMS
2013
5:04
When starting the sound project, I definitely knew I wanted to include some form of drawing into the project. When thinking about my everyday, the one thing I know I do every single day is doodle, at least for about 15 minutes whether it’s in class or at home before I go to bed. I also get a lot of inspiration from my dreams, which I can always remember because I have been jotting them down ever since I was little. I wanted to somehow combine these two elements of drawing and dream-like sequences that could be a representation of the everyday.
As far as what technology I recorded my project with, I simply used my GoPro, which I could attach to myself. I though this type of camera, which was versatile and mobile, best suited my project. I figured it would give off the feeling that it was my viewpoint; there fore the audience would be seeing my everyday through my eyes. I think it was successful, I really enjoyed the project, and I hope you enjoy it!
